Know Your Tea


Pour 8 oz freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup.
Cover cup and steep 5-8 minutes.

Medicinal features of chamomile were known from the ancient times. Egyptians, Greeks and Romans used to drink chamomile infusions as medicine. The Saxons considered chamomile to be one of the seven holy plants. Even the famous Avicenna in his work Canon of Medical Science mentioned chamomile as a remedy from many diseases.
In France chamomile infusions were vastly applied for curing digestion problems.
