Hyleys Iced Tea Popsicles

Hyleys homemade iced tea popsicles with fruit slices.

The recent heatwave might have closed airports in Arizona, but also might help you get more creative in ways to beat the weather with delightful all natural frozen treats. Here is a delicious recipe for iced tea popsicles you will love:

Ingredients

  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 8 Hyleys black tea bags like Hyleys Natures Harmony Teas
  • Fruit (fresh or frozen)
  • Sugar, honey or artificial sweetener to taste.

Instructions

  1. Pour the boiling water over the Hyleys tea bags
  2. Steep for 5 minutes
  3. Remove the tea bags
  4. Sweeten to taste
  5. Wait approximately 2 hours and let the tea cool.
  6. Add fruit
  7. Pour the tea into popsicle molds (or disposable paper cups) and insert sticks.
  8. Put the molds in the freezer until frozen.
  9. Enjoy!

Note that tea is milder in taste when frozen, so the iced tea you make for this recipe needs to be stronger & sweeter than usual.
